To go or Tuesday, that is the question...
I finished the current novel I was reading (wish I could say the same of the one I am writing!), and it ended up being quite good. Across the Face of the World, by Russell Kirkpatrick. I wrote a review for it on Amazon.com's reader reviews section, which I will post a link to as soon as it goes live. I tried to copy/paste the review into this blog post, but I keep getting errors regarding some hidden HTML codes in the text that this blog cannot digest or some such.
Bottom line, the summary is thus: It takes a while to build - perhaps longer than many will have the patience for - but once it gets rolling, it swells into a real juggernaut of a tale. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
Since I'm summarizing things, let me summarize my day: I rearranged my office, got some newsletters done, captured a video presentation off of an old VHS tape for a client of mine, and finished a good book. Not bad for a day's work!
As of this second, it is 9:44 in the pm. What remains now is to decide if I should do something productive (meaning "work related") with my time, start a new book, or play a game...
The next book on my list: The Blade Itself, by Joe Abercrombie.
Current Game: Fate, until my new system gets back.
Next Netflix (arriving tomorrow): Hellboy 2 and The Forbidden Kingdom.

You beat me in productivity today. We could start competing, you know...your day vs mine. But..nah..I could just cheat and sleep all day. I have that option. :D
Actually, I'm beginning to think we live parallel lives. Scary thought.
Speaking of which...I can't even watch the trailer of Hellboy. I have a photographic memory when it comes to disturbing images, and well...I'm a sissy. 8-|
btw...great heading :)
The first Hellboy wasn't one I'd watch again. But I read great things about the sequel, and how visually stunning it is, so being an artist (lol), I thought I'd give it a shot.
Sad to say, any stunning visuals would be lost on me because my eyes would be closed. Did I mention that I kept closing my eyes in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe? I truly am pathetic *lol*
