This is Just a Bit of Silliness, Really...

Bah, too much to do...

Between work, church, and personal obligations, things have sorta stacked up on me, and I'm feeling a bit of mild panic... Got all three of my desktop machines rolling at the moment, and will be doing stuff on all three simultaneously... three mice; one for each hand... yeah, the long-term exposure to the mild radiation emanating from my monitors over the years has had an impact on me, genetically...  I can read minds now, too... and you should be ashamed of yourself!

Unravelling, unravelling...

You know the hardest lesson I learned when my brother Bryan died in Jan 2000? That the rest of the world just carries on as though nothing happened. It made sense in my head - I mean, if the whole world stopped every time someone died, the world would be stopped permanently. Still, it was hard to see things carry on business as usual everywhere else while my life received a good, hard kick to the groin. Yeah, that sucked.

Speaking of kicks to the groin, I'm coming up on my 19th wedding anniversary. Got married to Wifey 12/15/1990. Dang. The good news is, I think the 19th anniversary is the "beef jerky & 1 minute backrub" anniversary. So, I've got that to look forward to...

What? Do I have any advice and/or regrets?

O_o

Can I plead the fifth?

Let's just say I've felt like that volleyball kid more times than I can tell you...

Better change the subject with some landscapey pics from my archive...

This is what I picture as I write my fantasy novel...

From the top of Mt. Fuji, in Japan...

How cool would it be to live here?

Giant wave crashing in the background...

I need an oxygen tank just looking at this pic...

Did I mention I have a ton of stuff to do tonight? I'm going to high-tail it out of here. Have an interview to format, a CD and props to make for rehearsal tomorrow, and the world to save from zombies. Tomorrow, it's posting pics on the rug website, finish the camp slideshow and watch more training videos (not to mention the rehearsal). Then Sunday it's church twice (in case the first time doesn't take). Plus writing/reading, and complaining/daydreaming. So my weekend is full.

Hope yours is as well! Until tomorrow, remember, they can see it, you know. You can't go on just pretending.

Wow 19 years! That's an amazing accomplishment no matter how you got there. Congrats :)

Man I have to wait 18 more years for the beef jerky anniversary? All kinds of lame!

I guess that's better than a "jerky back" anniversary, imagine the pain! ouchy.
