It's Beginning to Smell a lot Like Christmas....

Good grief, someone please take away this can of mixed nuts... please, or I'll regret it big time... moderation? Me? Bah! Shovel it in! That's my motto!

Church double-header today. Double portion. Hey, shovel it in, eh? Skeleton crew tonight... maybe 20 people, tops. I brought my iMac in with me so I could work on the camp slideshow while I was duping DVD's of the morning service and last week's Christmas play. I'm happy to say that all the camp pictures and video clips are on the timelime and adjusted for timing and zoom... now all that remains is to move a couple pics around, and find music. Home stretch. After, what, 6 months? Sheesh! They'll never ask me to help at camp again!

I told Abbie I'd teach her how to do the video/photo editing, so next year, it's all her! Go Abbie go!

[Dave munches more mixed nuts]

Dangit, I thought I asked someone to take these away from me!

That pic is for Joseph. He'll get it! John too, perhaps... but that's probably it... sorry...

OK, well, yeah, about the Christmas lights...

Here's the caption I found with the pic on Fail Blog...
Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.
First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.
Funny stuff, methinks. Of course, this lighting arrangement is much more my speed....

Easy to install, easy to take down.

OK, one more Funny Picture, and then I'm out...

LOL, I'm sorry. I can't help but laugh, forgive me...

OK, I'm going to go slay some zombies, and make a gameplan for tomorrow. Until then, remember to kill the lights and set the alarm on your way out...

lol. Love the pic, Dave. Just do what I did when I made the slideshow for our flag team trip to AL. Cram way too many pictures that look similar into PowerPoint so it slows the machine down and bores everyone to death. Works like a charm!
