Funny it was mentioned, the whole writing first, location later. Saw this photo several times thanks to a friend, and now we are using the hotel as the location in a book! The pictures I've seen of this place opened up my imagination like nothing else! But even if it may not be true, I'm still using it for my novel. Same with an urban legend in Las Vegas I'm using as the engine for another novel of mine.Rory L. DaveWorld is calm at the moment... so I'd say all is well. But, really, what else could I say? No one wants to hear a lousy report! Bah, there's always something to complain about... I'm trying to exercise my optimistic side a bit more frequently...

Dry: You're probably right in Q1 - thanks for talking some sense into me. Using a stone for tooth removal is a sign of brainpower to you, lol? Dang. I think my fave was the guy that tied a string to his son's loose tooth and the other end to a model rocket, which he then launched into the air... I saw another that had a string around a baseball, which was then hit into the outfield, taking the tooth with it... but those were both loose baby teeth to begin with... this guy's tooth was full, with the root and ever'thing! Sheesh!David Wagnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07594244647778062784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010663855553878264.post-11864606217103258572012-08-23T09:57:24.107-07:002012-08-23T09:57:24.107-07:00Q1 : Fitting the script to the location? You might as well make a documentary about how nice the place is.

Q2 : Trying to pull it out with your thumb and index finger, of course. More elaborate procedures, including ... {shiver!} that, require more brainpower to devise.

Q3 : Not a fan. But the lad's good.

Q4 : Well... I try. I try to identify some moments as 'magic' and memorable while they're still on. But as a rule of thumb I can only truly appreciate their worth looking back after half a year or so. Bring on the nostalgia!Drydoryssusnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010663855553878264.post-38478363930347970642012-08-23T08:36:50.020-07:002012-08-23T08:36:50.020-07:00When I think of my dream house, I picture it high ...When I think of my dream house, I picture it high up on a hill overlooking a beautiful view, and of course water. That picture is fabulous. Then my left brain butts in and says, "Think of the cost of running a place like that, and the housework to keep it clean." My left brain always comes uninvited to my right brain's dreams and ends the party :)

The singer was outstanding.

Hope all is well in DaveWorld.

Beth A.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
